BETTER TOGETHER

I have been a part of this community my entire life, working tirelessly to improve our community and simply make it a better place, a place we would be proud to have our children and grandchildren grow up in. Those tasks include currently serving on the Pickens County Library Board..while also putting effort in together with the Library Board and Pickens School System to form a partnership between the schools and the library. Also working for the Pickens County School system as a substitute teacher, during a pandemic just to jump in and help. To be a part of the “we are in this together” because we are in this together. working with all grades. Also remaining active in organizing like-minded people to support better government. In doing so, I also espouse the need for people of every political stripe to prioritize working together on common goals rather than focusing solely on our differences. I promise to listen to my constituents and become knowledgeable about the real issues in our community and bring us closer together. We are BETTER TOGETHER.  

 That's why I'm running to be your next state representative. We are all united in more ways than one. I would like to work on that commonality with my Republican colleagues. I will find a basis on which we can become friends and work out our differences without personalizing them. I bring a total commitment to do the right thing for my constituents and the ability to find out, with your input, what the right thing is. I am not a politician and I am not in this for money or power. I am here so  you know your voice will be heard. I will make it easier for that to happen. We can never see our true potential as a community if we do not truly work together. I know I can bring that same leadership all the way to the Capitol and get stuff done. Help me bridge the gap!
